  1. StarsQA has been online for 5 years, so we were wondering what has been your favorite career highlight from the past 5 years?   ~   StarsQA Team
The overnight successes in this business are far and few between and I am certainly not one of them. That being said, and as a result, I have had many career highlights in the last five years. For example, when I booked my first student film, that was a career highlight; when I booked my first feature film, that was a career highlight; when I booked my first national commercial, that was a career highlight. I could go on and on. And, I remember and appreciate every one of those experiences and stepping stones which, at the time, seemed so monumental, which they were. I have learned from them and grown from them and they brought me to where I am today, which includes two ongoing guest star roles on two different television shows. The past five years have been amazing and I got to work with some very talented and incredible individuals within the industry as well as work on some incredible projects, so just to highlight one would be an injustice to all of them.

  2. How do you prepare for auditions?   ~   StarsQA Team
Great question! I prepare for every audition a little bit differently; however, there are some things I do for almost every audition. One, I look at the sides (script) and I read everything including stage direction and other character lines. Two, I create a back story for my character, it may be the real back story or it might not be, and I may write it out as well. This helps to make a very strong choice, which is what casting directors like. Three, I start memorizing the lines and developing my character. Four, I look up everyone associated with the project including the casting director and find out what I can about them. Many have videos online that give away what they like and do not like. I always remember that every audition is a chance to show off and do what I love. No matter if I get the job or not, I know I worked hard and did my best and showed the casting director a great performance that he or she will always remember.

  3. What is your upcoming movie?   ~   Billy
I have several things coming out this year. Breaking Legs just got distribution, which means it will be available on DVD or on streaming networks sometime this year. Additionally, I have two short film getting ready to go through the film festival circuit. Also, I just did a recurring role on a television series that will be coming out this year as well.

  4. What is your favorite hobby?   ~   Julian
My favorite hobby is filming scenes and taking pictures with my camera. I read a lot about how to set up shots for different types of scenes and then I like to recreate them. This hobby actually came out of my love for acting.

  5. I see that you guest starred on Kirby Buckets with Tiffany Espensen and Jacob Bertrand, what was it like working with the both of them?   ~   Tiffany
Working on the set of Kirby Buckets was a really great experience. Both Tiffany and Jacob were on set at the same time I was. Both were very gracious and made being on set very comfortable. In general, the Kirby Buckets set is a really great set to work on.

  6. If you suddenly were living in the 1800s, would you still be interested in acting?   ~   Scott
I cannot imagine my life without acting. However, considering the 1800's and the fact that that Hollywood was probably not a thing at that time, my talents might have been manifested in writing or some other artistic form of expression.
