How did you get the nickname Panther? ~ Hannah
Well, there are a few reasons so I'll tell you! First it was because I always thought if I was an animal I would be a panther and some people called me Panther and Pan. Also I loved all these books by E. Nesbit and a few of them were about these children (the first one was Five Children and It) and all the children had animal nicknames like Panther, Squirrel and The Lamb. There was a girl named Anthea whose nickname was Panther. So since that was one of my favourite characters years ago a few of my friends started calling me Panther because one of my middle names is Athena. Usually only my best friends call me Panther so try calling me Panther some day and if I let you , it means I think we're friends. :)
Have you got any current/upcoming projects that you would like to tell us about? ~ StarsQA Team
Actually, yes, soon I will starting my first podcast 'Sounds of Sophia' ! You can find it here: https://soundcloud.com/sophiatallon and if you have any topics you want me to talk about just tweet me @Sophia_Tallon or email me email@example.com I had been listening to a lot of different podcasts lately and had actually thought about doing one! Then someone emailed me and said, "Will you do a podcast? You're funny when you ramble about rubbish." Then one of my friends suggested 'Sounds of Sophia' as a title. So, now you can listen to me ramble about rubbish!
Also, I recently did a few auditions to be an audio book narrator so I will let you know if and when I get a job narrating!
What's your ultimate dream vacation spot? ~ StarsQA Team
Tallonstown, Ireland or any place in Ireland since I just love it there.
If you could be any superhero's sidekick for a day, who would it be? ~ StarsQA Team
I don't really know since I don't usually watch super hero films. Maybe Super Woman? Is Harry Potter a superhero? Well, he is in my mind so, yeah, I'd hang out with him. And, actually, The Doctor is definitely a super hero so I'd choose him first!
What does your name say about you? ~ StarsQA Team
Well, my mum named me Sophia after the actress Sophia Loren. She had a whole list of names she was considering and Sophia wasn't even on it but she said as soon as she saw me she thought of Sophia Loren and named me. The actual name 'Sophia' means wisdom in Greek and was the name of a saint or something. It was also common among European royalty years ago and it was popular in Britain when the German House of Hanover inherited the British throne in the 18th century.
If you could have picked your birthday to be on a national holiday before you were born, which one would it be? ~ StarsQA Team
I would say Christmas but then...you know, less presents. So, I have no idea. Maybe Easter? I rather like Valentine's Day but then I still wouldn't want it on my birthday.
What is your favorite comedy TV show? ~ Mark Schaefer
Wow, this is such a hard/easy question! My favourite comedy tv show would have to be...Monty Python's Flying Circus followed by Fawlty Towers. They are both so amazingly hilarious and such classic shows! And of course...Seinfeld! Those are my top three :)
I recently played a party girl in a film called 'Powerless' and have several other roles on the table! Not only in films but also theatre and commercial. I have been considering starting to do some voice over acting for video games, anime, cartoons, and audio books so you might hear me as well!
What has been your favourite moment of this year so far? ~ StarsQA Team
Favourite moment so far this year would have to have been either making the youtube video 'Doing Something About Gandhi' with White Lightning HQ just because they were all so funny and nice (plus I got to wear a cool costume and say the punch line!) Or just a few days ago ending my run in Snow White Goes West the musical and literally going right out the door do be a party girl in the film 'Powerless'. Also this year I started taking voice lessons so it's been really amazing to become a better coloratura soprano than I was to begin with and hit gorgeous high notes (thanks to Vicki my teacher)! Still, there were a bunch of other great moments!
What is the strangest food you have ever eaten, what did it taste like and did you like it? ~ StarsQA Team
Wow, I have to think about this...I can't think of anything extremely weird or strange that I've eaten just because if it looks weird or sounds weird I stay away. To me the strangest thing I've eaten was an ant brownie in kindergarten when someone brought them to class. It was actually really good, I swear!
