How do you prepare for auditions? ~ StarsQA Team
That is a good question! It depends on the audition. Sometimes I have to memorize lots of pages of a script called sides. Sometimes they want me to improv which is to make things up as I go along. It's always different. Sometimes auditions last only a few minutes sometimes 30 minutes. Nothing is ever ever the same!
How did you start off your acting career? What's your advice for girls who want to become actresses? ~ Nicolly
I always would watch movies and wish I was in them. My Mom put me in classes and I realized there was a lot of work with acting. I really love it and I don't mind that hard work that goes into it. My Mom was a huge help she found many of my first jobs before I had an Agent. The most important thing you can do first and foremost is to get training. You will need a lot of confidence in yourself and your ability to do the job! You also must be prepared to handle rejection the majority of the auditions you go on you don't get and sometimes there may be 50-100 people trying to get the same role.
