  1. What is your favorite part of acting in Odd Squad?   ~   Alyse
I think my favourite part of acting in Odd Squad is that I get to play such a wacky character! Dr. O is important to Headquarters as the head of the Medical Department, but she's got so many quirks, like introducing herself to everyone all the time. She's so unique compared to other parts I've played, and I'm so lucky to get to play her!

  2. How do you prepare for auditions?   ~   StarsQA Team
When I get an audition, I always read the breakdown (character description), the sides (lines I'll be auditioning) as well as the entire script. This helps me get to know my character better and makes it easier to become her. After that, I write a character study called PREP.
P stands for Person: This is where I talk about my character and her motivations.
R is for Relationships: This is where I talk about my relationship with different characters in the audition scene and how I feel about them.
E is for Environment: This is where I talk about where the scene takes place and why it is important to my character and the scene.
P is for Purpose: This is where I talk about my goal for each scene in the audition. I do the character prep before I learn my lines because being in the headspace of the character makes the lines easier to learn and feel more natural.

After the audition, I never think about it again unless I get a callback or book the part. I think it's important not to get too hung up on an audition, which sometimes can be hard after all the character prep!

  3. If you were a power ranger, what color would you be?   ~   Tina Do
I think if I were a Power Ranger, I'd either be Pink or Yellow, because those are two of my favourite colours!

  4. Are you good at drawing?   ~   Hiroki
No, I'm not necessarily good at drawing, but I do like it. I think that just because you're not deemed 'good' at something, it doesn't mean you should stop doing it.

  5. How many years have you been a fan of The Star Wars movies?   ~   Tiffany
I haven't seen all of the Star Wars movies yet because I would really love to see the older ones on a big screen. I've seen the last two (The Force Awakens and Rogue One) recently, and I even dressed up as Rey for Halloween!

  6. Who is your favorite Star Wars Jedi? Mine is Obi Wan Kenobi. Who is yours?   ~   Lovestruck
Since I've only seen three Star Wars movies, I'd have to say my favourite character is Rey.

  7. What do u enjoy doing for fun when your not acting in movies?   ~   Adam
When I'm not acting, I love reading, writing, painting, watching movies/TV shows, swimming and hanging out with family and friends!

  8. Are there going to have odd squad additions on 2017?   ~   Anna garcia
Since Odd Squad is agency run by kids, there's always the chance that new Agents will be introduced. You'll have to tune in to new episodes to find out!

  9. What is your favorite movie ?   ~   Adam
My favourite movie right now (other than my own, of course!) is THE SIXTH SENSE, directed by M. Night Shyamalan. I loved everything about the movie. It was written extremely well, the acting was amazing, the direction was spot on, the list could go on and on. I don't want to give any spoilers, but there is a plot twist, and it was done spectacularly, I had no idea it was coming. I love every single element in this movie. This may change with the more movies I watch, and I love watching movies!

  10. Who is your favorite Star wars character and why?   ~   Hiroki
My favourite STAR WARS character is Rey from STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS. She is smart, strong, and a good person. I even dressed up as her for Halloween last year! I think she's a great role model, and I'm super excited to see her in STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII. I also admire Princess Leia, who eventually became General Leia Organa. She, like Rey, is strong, smart, and an inspiring character. I'm really happy that young girls like me can see these strong female characters in leading roles. (RIP Carrie Fisher.)
