  1. How do you prepare for auditions?   ~   StarsQA Team
For me preparing for auditions is more than memorizing lines and standing in front of a camera. Firs I read the sides provided me for the audition. Since I have only a small portions of the script it is difficult to do a script break down, but I try to do it anyway. I ask my self, who is this character? Why is he/she there? What does he/she want? Did he/she get what was desired? What was the result? Since the script is so limited in length, it becomes difficult to do a full script break down, because so many pieces are missing. So I create several different back stories. Each back story causes me to perform the sides differently. So I rehearse the different performances over and over until I can pick the top two or three that I like the most. Those are the stories I bring to an audition that is in person or on film. If I am handed a script cold, there is no time to prepare, so I draw from previous performances and life experience.

  10. How would you explain colour to a blind person?   ~   StarsQA Team
Those I know who are blind but once could see can remember color, so it would' be that hard. However those who never could see has four other senses. So I close my eyes and try to see in my mind how the other senses corilate color. Then I describe how the. Other senses understand color and use words from that perspective to describe it with emotion, sound, touch, and so forth.
