Have you got any current/upcoming projects that you would like to tell us about? ~ StarsQA Team
Yes! I booked two films over the summer, one called To Whom it May Concern and the other The Girl in the Book. I have a small part in each. I also just booked a role on one of my favorite television shows, "Law and Order: SVU"!
If you discovered a new island, what would you name it and why? ~ StarsQA Team
Fluffernus. Because it sounds delicious.
If you could have any supernatural power, which would you choose and why? ~ StarsQA Team
I'd like to have super strength. Remember that episode of The Lucy Show where she somehow gained super strength after dealing with a crisis? Anyway, she ended up wrecking her house trying to kill a fly. It'd be awesome to swat a newspaper at a wooden column and have the column totally break up because of it.
If you could win any award in your chosen career, what would you like it to be for? ~ StarsQA Team
I'd like to win an Oscar. That's the goal. And it's gonna happen!
If you could invite 5 famous people, dead or alive to dinner, who would you choose? ~ StarsQA Team
Uh. I don't know. The Dalai Lama, Joss Whedon, Tim Burton, Plato, H.P. Lovecraft. Is that five? Yay!
What do you like to do on your day off? ~ Brent Castro
I enjoy all things horror/paranormal, almost morbidly so! I spend most of my days off looking on the internet for scary things, and yesterday I literally perused this reddit thread for (I kid you not) about six hours: Read if you dare. http://redd.it/1d2v7i But with the lights on and preferably with your entire neighborhood present.
Lena, if you could go back in time, how far back will you go, to what place, who will you meet and why? :) ~ Josephine
I think I'd probably go back to the 1940s in America. I enjoy the fashion and the music from that period of time, and the whole "pin up girl" sort of vibe. And this may sound strange, but I'd wait a few years and meet my dad before he had me. He came to the country in 1953 from Lithuania/Russia/Germany/Czechoslovakia after World War II and has a lot of incredible stories that he's starting to forget :( (being that he is 80 years old now). Either that or I would go back millions of years and try and ride a dinosaur. I would probably fail miserably but IT WOULD BE WORTH IT.
If you could work with any one who would it be and why? ~ Britnie
Wow. I'd probably work with Tim Burton because I love his twisted and beautiful creations. He had an exhibit at the MOMA in New York a few years ago and I spent the whole day just looking at all of his artwork. Check out his story, The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy: http://homepage.tinet.ie/~sebulbac/burton/oysterboy.html
Did you always want to act? ~ ghfan33
Always. Since I was 2 and I saw a production of Winnie the Pooh at the children's theater where I grew up (Omaha, Nebraska). And I'm lucky I get to do both of my loves: writing and acting. I'm starting up a new webseries that I wrote in July; very exciting!
Hi! what do you find is the biggest challenge when it comes to your job? ~ Brent Castro
Hi! Biggest challenge: I won't lie, it's the constant rejection...but it's getting easier! I'm trying to just focus on doing well at auditions and not the outcome. After all, it's not my decision as to whether or not I'll get cast in something, but I can control how I feel about it!
