  1. How do you prepare for auditions?   ~   StarsQA Team
Thanks for the great question! I approach every audition and meeting as if it were an actual job interview. In fact, that's where I think a lot of other performers miss out on a great opportunity and why so many don't have solid callback and booking rates. Gone are the days of a performer simply looking at the sides, reading the script and ONLY preparing that (the craft side). What's essential in audition prep is to have what I call and "Audition Game Plan". This includes researching the client, product, production, etc. and getting hints on how to approach the script, know what to wear as well as researching who is casting, writing, producing, directing the project and preparing what I might say should they also be in the room at the time of the audition or through the callback process. I believe auditions are a way to build relationships in the Industry, so much in fact that I co-host a webinar on this very topic! You can watch it at http://www.AuditionGamePlan.com
