Have you got any current/upcoming projects that you would like to tell us about? ~ StarsQA Team
I play Vena on the upcoming series Killjoys. It is coming out this June. The hired some super brave performers to do stunts that are amazing. It's Sci fy and I'm not used to being surrounded by quite this much action. I loved watching & feeling them work around me and I'm particularly excited to see what it looks like on screen!
I'm also in a feature called Andron - The Black Labyrinth that comes out late this year and I played opposite Danny Glover and Alec Baldwin. Lots of surprising facts about that one! But I'll save them

Are you a nervous flyer or a calm one? ~ StarsQA Team
I'm really into safety so I usually really pay attention before we take off. Once we're up and away I just do my thing. When I travel to a festival or to shoot I'm usually alone so I often write and think about the creative adventure ahead. Assuming I have plenty of time, there are also a few airports I really like and I like to go exploring and eat local popular foods.
If you could reinvent a movie theatre snack, what would it be? ~ StarsQA Team
Oh gosh...what about poutine except instead of fries they are waffle fries? I love my poutine!
Would you rather be rich with no friends, or poor with many friends? ~ StarsQA Team
How could anyone not want friends? Having a big house with lots of stuff without anyone to sit and have tea in it with you would be awful.
Who is your favourite author and book they have written? ~ StarsQA Team
I cannot choose!
But, to slightly narrow the question, my favourite book that I read last year was The Birth House by Canadian author Ami McKay. I also am just beginning to write children's stories myself and have been reading lots of picture books so if someone asks me this question in a few months I might have quite a long list of picture books!
Do you have a motto that you live by? ~ StarsQA Team
When I am thinking about what to do I think to myself "Will this make the world better or will it make the world worse?" If I'm not making the world better, what's the point?
If you could have been in any film ever made what would it have been? ~ steventurrell
As a child, The Sound of Music, hands down. Gosh the number of times I re-enacted parts of that movie for my parents and their friends...
But now, I am attracted to different things. Perhaps, one day, something with the socio-political weight of Hotel Rwanda, but maybe about Irish or Canadian history, which is I think more my story to tell. And in the end, maybe it is better not to be able to name one role or film, my dream roles are then all ahead of me, fresh and new and full and like the roles themselves, the important discourses they provoke are, as of yet, unknown.
